Elizabeth Jeon is a violinist from Appleton, Wisconsin, with nearly a decade of experience. She is currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Violin Performance and Pre-Med on a full ride, studying under Dr. Dawn Dongeun Wohn. Elizabeth previously served as Concertmaster of both the St. Norbert Youth Orchestra and the Fox Valley Youth Symphony and was a dedicated member of the WSMA Honors State Orchestra for six years, culminating in her final performance as Concertmaster in October 2023. Elizabeth has earned several awards, including prizes from the Milwaukee Stars of Tomorrow Concerto Competition, the Fox Valley Young Artist Festival Concerto Competition, and the WSMA Solo & Ensemble Competitions. She has also participated in several orchestra programs, such as Interlochen and at the Musikverein in Vienna, Austria. Passionate about music education, Elizabeth began teaching violin in high school and now continues as a Super Strings Instructor, dedicated to making music accessible to young musicians.
