Cody graduated from Carthage College with a degree in Music Performance and a Minor in Business Administration. During his time at Carthage, he was the principal bassist for the Carthage Philharmonic and also performed with the college’s two Jazz ensembles. He was also the vice president of the Carthage Orchestra and String Teacher Association that helped raise awareness for musicians' musculoskeletal health as well as facilitating fundraising events for the Philharmonic.
After graduation Cody leveraged his Business Minor and worked with Amazon for over two years. In those two years he worked his way up to the role of Area Manager. His time at Amazon gave him the opportunity to move to Madison and has been a resident for over a year. He is excited to get back into the world of music and to be a part of an organization with incredible musical talent and a strong connection to the community it resides in.
In his free time, he likes to go on motorcycle rides, cook, and play with his hedgehog Sofia.
