Youth Outreach and Education have been an integral part of the mission of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. Every year, the orchestra introduces southern Wisconsin children to classical music through our youth and education programs.

Young Artist Concerto Competition
The Young Artist Concerto Competition is a highly-regarded competition in which Wisconsin’s young musicians in piano, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion, grades 9-12, compete for scholarships and the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the WCO at Concerts on the Square.

Family Series
Our Family Series is a free program that offers an engaging exploration of music for families with children of all ages. The format is purposefully different from typical concert settings, so moving around or making noise during the show is welcomed and encouraged!
