The Volunteer Affiliate program was designed to engage small local businesses that want to get involved with Concerts on the Square, but maybe can't make a financial monetary donation as a sponsor. At the WCO we value volunteer time, and we understand just how precious your time is as a small business owner. We see you, and we want you to be part of our community with Concerts on the Square too. 

Annually we select six businesses to feature, one each week, as our Volunteer Affiliate business of the week. On the week they're selected, businesses are given recognition on the video screens and in the emails and social media leading up to that week's concert. Businesses are also recognized as the Season's Volunteer Affiliate Businesses on the back of the t-shirt given to all volunteers to wear during that service at the events.

Requirements

Businesses must be able to provide 4-6 volunteers from 4:30/5:00 – 9:00 PM on one of the concert weeks, listed below. Volunteers must be available for both the Wednesday concert day and the Thursday rain date to participate. The call will be made by 3 PM on Wednesday to delay the concert to Thursday in the case of inclement weather.

  • 7/16 (7/17 rain date)
  • 7/23 (7/24 rain date)
  • 7/30 (7/31 rain date)

Your business will receive:

  • Your Business featured (1 of 6) on the back of the volunteer and crew t-shirts.
  • Your Business logo featured on the event video screens the week you are assigned to.
  • Your Business logo featured on the webpage of the concert you are assigned to.
  • Your Business featured in social media posts and emails leading up to the concert for week you are assigned to.

    Applications are open from March 2, 2025 – April 25, 2025

    A panel of WCO stakeholders will review all applications and six applications will be selected to be part of the Volunteer Affiliate Program.
