Celebration of Liberty

Celebrate Independence Day in grand style with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra! Weaving together contemporary and classical gems, audiences can expect all their favorites such as 1812 Overture, Stars and Stripes Forever, and the Armed Forces Salute, paired with performances by the TIED WINNERS of our 2025 Young Artist Concerto Competition, 17-year-old Indre Raghavan showcasing her skill on violin with the first movement of the Violin Concerto in D minor by Jean Sibelius, and 15-year-old André Previn Peck impressively performing the first movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in F minor. Learn more about our 2025 YACC winners here.

Table Reservations

Reserving a table at Concerts on the Square® is the perfect way to entertain clients, have fun with family and friends, show new Madison residents what our community has to offer, and support a Madison Summer tradition. Tables are available on a first come first serve basis so make sure to get yours fast!

On concert days, blankets can be put down on the lawn unattended starting at 3 PM. The street will open at 5 PM and the concert begins at 7 PM. Attendees are invited to sample the many food vendors at Concerts on the Square each week. A full list of vendors is coming soon. RAIN CALL

The decision to continue or cancel a concert due to weather conditions will be made at 3 PM on concert days. The official announcement will be made on wcoconcerts.org and on the WCO’s Facebook and Instagram pages. An email will also be sent to WCO subscribers. If the concert is postponed at that time, it will be held the following day at 7 PM. If the concert is not postponed by 3 PM but is subsequently canceled due to poor weather conditions, that week’s concert will not be held or may be cut short.

Indre Raghavan, violin

Indre began her violin studies at age seven with Janse Vincent, and currently studies with Professor Eugene Purdue. Indre has been a member of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO) for eight years, where she has held concertmaster and principal roles. Indre is a finalist of the 2025 Bolz Young Artist Concerto competition (The Final Forte), the 2025 Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Stars of Tomorrow competition, and the 2025 Middleton Community Orchestra’s concerto competition. She spent the summers of 2023 and 2024 at the Meadowmount School of Music studying with Professor Gerardo Ribeiro and Professor I-Hao Lee. Additionally, in 2024, she attended Sounding Point Academy at The Colburn School. Outside of music, Indre is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as class representative in Middleton High School (MHS) Student Senate. She also loves to train at CrossFit Madtown.

André Previn Peck, piano

André Previn Peck is a 15-year-old from La Crosse, Wisconsin. He is currently a student of Dr. Joseph Zins of Crocus Hill Studios in St. Paul, Minnesota. André’s dedication to classical piano has manifested in 18 competition prizes to date, including the Minnesota MTNA, Golden Valley Orchestra Concert Competition, Final Forte with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and more. He has performed in Masterclasses and has taken private lessons with such international luminaries as Tamás Ungár, Arie Vardi, Mikhail Voskresensky, and Dang Thai Son amongst others. André’s interest in giving back to his community using his pianistic gifts includes organizing concerts for the La Crosse Children’s Museum, the Memorial Pool, and Logan High School, raising over $12,000.
