Olivia Stumpf is a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in Arts Administration. She is a peoples’ advocate with extensive global experience, community leadership, and volunteer advocacy focused on helping at-promise populations. Olivia joined the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra in September 2021 and looks forward to assisting the Development Team analyze and leverage data to make strategic business decisions.

Olivia is a first-generation college student who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2016 with her Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management. After graduation, Olivia worked for Georgia-Pacific, LLC as a recruiter for one year before she faced a lifechanging event which led her to turn a personal passion of giving back to the community into her career. In 2018, she left for Peace Corps Paraguay where she served as a Community Economic Development Volunteer facilitating a leadership-focused youth group by day and teaching entrepreneurship classes to the local community by night.

After her time with the Peace Corps, Olivia returned to the United States to work with International Rescue Committee (IRC) as the Job Training AmeriCorps. In this position she facilitated job readiness training for immigrants of very diverse backgrounds. In her most recent position with IRC, Olivia assisted in managing the Adult Education Program, where she oversaw the English as a Second Language program, revamped the job readiness training curriculum, and participated on both the local and international Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams.

In her free time, Olivia loves to go on long walks with her Pomeranian-husky Mora, enjoys experimenting with recipes from Serious Eats, and finding ways to give back to the community. She has been volunteering since middle school and looks forward developing her career in the nonprofit industry by continuing her education with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and growing her professional experience with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
