Emily Schaub joined the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra as Music Librarian in January of 2023. In this role, she manages anything and everything sheet music related for the orchestra and maintains the organization’s music library. Before joining the WCO, she developed her skills as a performance librarian at Interlochen Center for the Arts, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and with the Clemson University Symphony Orchestra. As an accomplished tuba player, Emily enjoys applying her musical knowledge and administrative abilities to facilitate excellent orchestral performances.
Emily is currently completing her dual MA/MBA in Arts Administration at the University of Cincinnati and holds a BA in Production Studies in Performing Arts (Music) from Clemson University. Over the years, she has worked in development, marketing, patron services, and operations with several organizations, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Spoleto Festival USA, and the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Emily is passionate about expanding the accessibility of meaningful musical experiences to as many people as possible.
In her spare time, Emily loves to watch classic films, travel/explore locally, learn other languages, and spend time with family and friends.
